2013 Atlantic Coast Conference Championship Game

The Atlantic Coast Conference game pits the Duke Blue Devils against the Florida State Seminoles.  So here is the analysis of the game using the Complex Invasion College Football Production Model.

The Duke Blue Devils are currently 10-2 playing against an "average" strength of schedule as compare to the "league" average.  Duke's best victory of the season was against currently ranked #36 Miami (FL).  Duke's worst loss was a 55-58 decision against currently ranked #71 Pittsburgh.  As of last weekend, Duke was ranked #49 overall in terms of overall production, with the #47 most productive offense and the #52 most productive defense.

Florida State is currently 12-0 playing against an "average" strength of schedule as compare to the "league" average.  The Seminole's best win was a 51-14 over currently ranked #16 Clemson.  The Seminoles are currently ranked as the #1 ranked team in overall production and has the #1 ranked offense and the #3 defense.

This could be the most lopsided championship game on paper, with the most productive team in college football facing a team that is slightly above average in terms of on-field productivity.
