Liberty has only been officially an FBS member for this season, so the analysis will be short. The Flames finished the regular season at (6-6); and are bowl
ineligible, since they played two FCS teams (Idaho State and Norfolk State). According
to rule 18.7.2.2.1 - Football Championship Subdivision Opponent, only
one FCS victory can count towards bowl eligibility. Liberty played against an “easier” strength
of schedule, meaning that the Flames strength of schedule was between one and two standard deviations higher than the "league" average strength of schedule. Liberty's
best game was their victory
