Doug Martin will not be Renewed as head football coach at New Mexico State

Doug Martin's contract will not be renewed as the head football coach at New Mexico State.  Here is a look at the New Mexico State football program since 2008 (the first year that of complete data I have).  This time period only covers the last five seasons of head football coach DeWayne Walker (2008-2012), and Doug Martin (2013-2021).  After the figure below is a more detailed look at the New Mexico State Aggies football program during head coach Martin's tenure based on the Complex Invasion College Football Production Model using data provided by www.cfbstats.com.  (The vertical school color bars represent seasons where head coaches changed).
