Jeff Tedford Resigns as Head Football Coach at Fresno State

Earlier today Jeff Tedford resigned as the Fresno State head football coach

Here is a look at the Fresno State Bulldogs football team since 2008; under three head coaches - Hill (partial) (2008-2011); DeRuyter (2012-2016) and Tedford (2017-2019).  As you will notice, Fresno State has been a roller coaster of a team during this time period, with extremely productive teams in 2012, 2013 and 2017 and 2018; and then extremely unproductive in other years.

Below is the Fresno State Bulldogs production rank (total, offense, defense, and the average and worst teams) since 2008 using the Complex Invasion College Football Production Model from the data provided from www.cfbstats.com, as well as lines for head coaching terms ending.  More details about the program under Tedford is provided below; including a link to his original contract.
