Earlier this week, University of Illinois defensive coordinator Bobby Hauck departed the program. The Illini are currently 2-2, with victories over currently ranked #115 UAB and FCS Southern Illinois and defeats to currently ranked #7 Ohio State and #8 Duke. Overall, the defense is currently the #95 ranked program (out of 138), which after playing two of the most productive teams in college football this year is well below average.
