2013 Mountain West Conference Championship Game

The Mountain West Conference game has the Fresno State Bulldogs against the Utah State Aggies.  So here is the analysis of the game using the Complex Invasion College Football Production Model.

Fresno State is currently 10-1 playing against a "much easier" strength of schedule as compare to the "league" average, meaning that the Bulldogs schedule is more than two standard deviations higher than the "league" average.  Fresno State's best victory of the season was against currently ranked #29 Boise State.  The Bulldog's only loss was to currently ranked #77 San Jose State.  As of last weekend, Fresno State was ranked #18 overall in terms of overall production, with the #7 most productive offense and the #73 most productive defense.

Utah State is currently 8-4 playing against an "average" strength of schedule as compare to the "league" average.  Utah State's best victory of the season was against currently ranked #38 Colorado State.  The Aggies's worst loss was to currently ranked #81 Utah.  As of last weekend, Utah State was ranked #21 overall in terms of overall production, with the #49 most productive offense and the #7 most productive defense.

This should be a good game and the game should be determined by who is more productive between the Bulldogs offense and the Aggies defense.
